Today: After a Summer Shower by George Inness, 1894. The Art Institute of Chicago (public domain).

How to play

  1. Choose how many pieces you want: 24 for a quick break, 300 for a real challenge.
  2. Drag a piece onto the board. When it is close to its place it snaps in.
  3. Use Edges to line up the border pieces, Picture to show or hide the faint guide image, and Full screen for big puzzles.
  4. Finish to see your time and keep your daily streak. A new puzzle arrives at midnight (Eastern time).

Every picture is a public domain artwork, most from the open access collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Gallery of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art. More tips: how to solve a jigsaw faster.
